Dear friends and supporters of WenHoLee.org,

For many months WenHoLee.org has been operating under a shoestring
budget. Some of the reasons why we didn't seek out your help earlier were
outlined at www.wenholee.org/contribution.htm. Also, for those who are not
familiar with the disclaimer statement please go to
www.wenholee.org/disclaimer.htm

With the momentum we built up by getting 15,000 signatures we are getting
support from three Congress members namely Mike Honda, Pete Stark and
Barbara Lee. Congressman George Miller also send us a note of encouragement.

To provide organizations and individuals an opportunity to contribute to
this cause WenHoLee.org is putting together this sign up sheet as a Benefactor
Click here to get a copy of the signup form. If you can sign up before August 12
as a platinum Benefactor you can bring your organization's banner with you and
we would love to highlight your participation by displaying your organization's banner.

Other ways to highlight your organization's commitment in this petition
drive is to sign up for the next target goal of 50,000 signatures by
September 13, 2002 (that is the second anniversary of his freedom). With the
anniversary of 9/11 just two days ahead it is very unlikely we will get any
publicity of on September 13. But we, supporters of Wen Ho Lee do
want to commemorate this special day in our own way. Therefore, generating
an additional 15,000 signatures is our way of saying "We are not going to forget
the travesty of injustice that our government brought onto one of our kind. We are
not going to forget the pain the system brought upon a man like Wen Ho Lee".
Hopefully this party could become a kick off party for the 30,000 signatures drive.

So far, Congressman Honda, Assemblywoman Wilma Chan and Alameda County
office of Education  are sending representatives to the August 12th event.
They all want to deliver a message to us commending our work so be sure to
come and witness the success we brought about as Wen Ho Lee supporters.
